Job Description:

Performing laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support  scientific investigations.

Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses and to draw samples.

Preparing specimens and samples, taking care of outsource samples and typing reports.

Constructing, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment, for example centrifuges, pipettes and urino meters.

Ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced.

Recording and sometimes interpreting results to present to senior colleagues.

Attending consultants like Microbiologists, Pathologists.

Keeping up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability.

Following and ensuring strict safety procedures, safety checks & quality control.

Prepared to work for accreditation (NABL), Know to handle all departments eg:- microbiology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, serology, histopathology.

Desired Candidate Profile:

2nd shift technician must have knowledge of histopathology and ready to work independently from 2pm to 10pm.

Qualification:

UG – DMLT/ B.Sc/MLT

PG – Not specified

Minimum Experience:

1 Year.

Maximum Experience:

5 Years.
